Privacy Policy

Drape LLC ("Drape," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Drape mobile application and the Drape Chrome browser extension (collectively, the "App"). This Privacy Policy applies to both surfaces and explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use them.
Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the App.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Personal Information You Provide
We collect information that you voluntarily provide when you:
- Create an account (via Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or email and password): name, email address, username
- Complete your profile: height, weight, age, gender, body measurements, style preferences, fit preferences
- Upload photos: base photos of yourself for AI virtual try-on, outfit photos you choose to share
- Create content: outfit names, descriptions, hashtags, notes
- Add payment handles: Venmo, Cash App, or PayPal usernames (for receiving tips)
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device information (device type, operating system version)
- App usage data (features used, session duration)
- Crash reports and performance data
1.3 Information from Third Parties
- Sign-in providers: When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address. Apple offers a relay email if you choose to hide your real address; we honor that choice.
- Product URLs: When you scan or paste product links — either in the mobile app or via the Chrome extension's "Scan this page" — we fetch the page server-side and extract publicly available product information (product name, brand, price, images). We do not collect your general browsing history; only the specific URLs you choose to scan.
2. How We Use Your Information

3. Third-Party Services
We work with the following providers to operate the App:
- Supabase — authentication, database, and image storage
- Apple and Google — sign-in identity providers (when you choose to use them)
- Stripe via RevenueCat — subscription billing and customer portal
- Anthropic, FASHN, Replicate, and FAL — AI processing for product extraction, virtual try-on, and image enhancement
- Vercel and Railway — web and backend hosting
These services process your data in accordance with their own privacy policies. We select providers that maintain appropriate security and privacy standards.
4. How Your Photos Are Used
Your photos are a critical part of how Drape works. Here's exactly what happens:
- Base photos are uploaded to our secure storage and sent to AI services for virtual try-on processing
- AI processing is transient — third-party AI services process your photos and return results. They do not store your photos permanently
- Result images (try-on outputs) are stored in our secure storage so you can access them in your Wardrobe
- Photos you post to Explore are visible to other Drape users
- Photos you keep private are only accessible to you
- We never sell your photos or use them for advertising
- We never use your photos to train AI models
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share your data only in these circumstances:
- With your consent: When you post outfits to the Explore feed or share outfit links
- Service providers: Third-party services listed in Section 3 that help us operate the App
- Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or governmental authority
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
6. Data Retention
- Account data: Retained as long as your account is active
- Photos and outfits: Retained until you delete them or delete your account
- AI processing data: Transient — not retained by third-party AI services after processing
- Account deletion: You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at the email below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days
7. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Secure authentication via Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or email and password, backed by JWT session tokens
- Row-level security on our database (users can only access their own data)
- Secure cloud storage with access controls
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
8.1 All Users
- Access your personal data

- Delete your account and data
- Export your data
- Opt out of marketing communications
8.2 California Residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- Right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used
- Right to delete your personal information
- Right to opt-out of the sale of your personal information (we do not sell your data)
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights
8.3 EU/EEA Residents (GDPR)
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation:
- Right to data portability
- Right to restrict processing
- Right to object to processing
- Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
9. Children's Privacy
Drape is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
